Out of thousands of auditions, and rigorous process, it all comes down to these four finalists — Alisah Bonaobra representing Team Apl, Rence Rapanot representing Team Bamboo, Leah Patricio representing Team Lea, and Jason Dy representing Team Sarah.
For this season’s finalé, the artists all have four chances of getting your votes. Tonight will feature two of those four rounds of singing — first, a duet with a special guest and next, a “happy” song.
Morissette Amon may not have won the first season of The Voice of the Philippines (she went all the way to the semi-finals before losing her spot in the finale to Klarisse de Guzman), but it doesn’t mean the end of her musical career. Nope. More than a year after her stint on the reality singing competition show, Morissette has finally signed with Star Records, and just today, she released her debut album’s carrier single, ‘Di Mapaliwanag.
The night we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! After countless auditions, heated battles and knockout live performances, we’re down to our final four artists all vying for the Voice trophy and inherit the crown that Mitoy Yunting currently wears.
But before the grand reveal (please tell me you’ve kept Cory Vidanes out of this), let’s rank our Top 4 finalists for the last time this season, while briefly discussing their chances to win the entire enchilada:
After an exhaustive search for the Philippines’ best singing talents, tt all boils down to these four remaining artists — Alisah Bonaobra for Team Apl, Rence Rapanot for Team Bamboo, Jason Dy for Team Sarah, and Leah Patricio for Team Lea.
Those are your Top 4 for this season’s Grand Finalé. The all-important question now is: who do you think should take it all away and be the next to inherit the Voice trophy?
Let’s do it! Let’s duet.
Yes, ladies and gents. Tonight, the eight remaining artists has one last chance to sing for your text votes via a duet a.k.a. Battle Rounds Part Deux. So load up, and prepare to vote for your favorites to secure their places in the Grand Finalé next week.
This is the week where two become one. Who will represent and carry their team’s flag in the Grand Finalé next week? Who will be one step closer from inheriting the Crown That Once Belonged To Mitoy? We’ll all find out in tomorrow’s results show.
But before that reveal, the eight remaining artists still have, not one, but two chances of singing for your votes — the first is their solo performance tonight, and the next is their team duets in tomorrow night’s results show. Will they be able to rise up from their underwhelming showing last week? Who will bring their A-game? We all have a boatload of questions, so let’s try to answer them one by one, shall we?
The semi-finals is upon, and after this week’s underwhelming offering from the artists and the shocking results that followed right after, we are now left with this season’s final 8 artists!
Only twelve artists remain after gruelling (and mostly tiresome) Blind Auditions, some kick-ass Battles, an introduction to the Knockout Rounds and the steal, and the first two weeks of live singing in the Live Shows.
And then there were 12.
Yes, ladies and gents. After this week’s wild ride through quick voting and eliminations, we are now left with three artists per team — your Top 12. But where do your loyalties lie? It’s time to pick your favourites!
